You will provide trusted technical, and sales advise on farm, to existing and new clients.
Operating out of our Invercargill Store you will work with a high performing team to support you.Duties and Responsibilities:Utilise your proven sales skills to hit your targetsIdentify client needs and provide sound and accurate product and farming adviceBuild farm systems solutions alongside client farming practicesCommunicate new technologies and technical knowledge to clientsBe readily available to clients as a source of technical knowledge and information and complete requests in line with PGG Wrightson's service standardsAssist clients, colleagues and suppliers to answer queries and resolve problemsSkills, qualifications and experience:Strong Sales skills both with existing clients and cold callingProven extensive knowledge of the New Zealand rural sector and strong agronomy skills are essentialDevelop and demonstrable understanding of current arable, dairy, sheep and beef farming practicesConfidence and expertise to develop new business with a strong customer focusOutstanding organisation and team building skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsReasonable fitness as some heavy lifting and physical work is requiredFull, current and clean New Zealand driver licenceWe are committed to growing our employees and we develop leadership and technical expertise at all levels of our company.
