The Opportunity: We're seeking a seasoned Technical Director to join our dynamic team in Christchurch. In this role, you'll spearhead our approach to the market, shaping the future of planning while providing invaluable leadership to our team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct planning assessments to support resource consents, investigations, and policy development.
Prepare submissions on planning documents and environmental standards.
Collaborate with authorities and stakeholders to support our clients' projects.
Lead project management efforts and mentor junior planners.
Present technical papers at conferences, showcasing our expertise.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in RMA Planning, Environmental Science, or related field.
Must have a minimum 13 years New Zealand consulting or council experience.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams.
Full membership status with the New Zealand Planning Institute.
