TEAM MANAGER

Salary range $70 - 75 kpa

Our client is a busy, growing organisation providing products and services to customers across the South Canterbury region, and beyond.

They have an exciting vacancy for a Team Manager to join the crew and lead a team to achieve project goals. This is a hands-on leadership role, and the Team Manager will work as part of the team on the daily tasks, as well as directing workflow, organising staff and resources, and managing any challenges that arise.

To succeed in this role, our ideal candidate will bring the following skills and attributes:

Proven leadership capabilities - has successfully lead teams in previous roles

Good communication and relationship building skills - open, direct, honest

Ability to manage and motivate the team to complete tasks to a high standard, within set timelines

Confidence to set boundaries, manage difficult situations, and undertake performance management if required

Health and safety focus - manage and monitor health and safety compliance in the workplace

Good physical fitness - you are walking the walk and sharing the load alongside the team

Sound organisational and time management skills

Flexible, adaptable - you can roll with the punches when things change

Good computer skills - able to keep records, send emails
