We work together providing holistic health and wellbeing programmes within a multi-disciplinary team to support tangata whaiora affected by problematic alcohol and other drug (AOD) use challenges.You will support and lead a team of clinical, peer support, aftercare and whanau workers, providing a multi-disciplinary approach to working with our client group and work in collaboration with other prison-based teams to provide the best possible treatment options for our clients.In this role, you will beLeading a multi-disciplinary team of clinical, peer support, aftercare and whanau workersDemonstrating your proven clinical ability. A knowledge of community based services and supports would also be beneficial.Using a strengths-based approachLiaising with stakeholdersFacilitating team meetings and contributing at a wider organizational levelFacilitating groups and individual interventions as appropriateTo be successful in this role, you willHold a Registration with an allied health profession such as Social Work, OT, NZAC, DAPAANZ etcHave excellent organisational skillsHave experience leading a teamA good understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and knowledge of tikanga Maori /te reoA non-judgmental approach to working with tangata whaioraYou will be part of a dedicated team and a valued member of the wider Purapura Whetu Trust and Odyssey whanau.
