We have an opportunity for a Sleep Physiologist to join the EdenSleep team, based out of Wellington, NZ. This role will support our lower North Island and South Island from a Sleep Physiologist perspective whilst leading the Wellington EdenSleep team to support our customers.
Job Summary : The Team Leader, Sleep Physiologist position at EdenSleep requires a multifaceted approach, encompassing outstanding customer service, effective communication with clients, and adept management of inquiries and complaints within the realm of sleep disorder therapy.
The role requires a deep understanding of Sleep Therapy, and is expected to contribute to team competency, participate in industry events, and ensure adherence to guidelines, providing essential support to the Clinical Manager as needed.
Moreover, the Team Leader is tasked with the additional responsibility of being a Brand Ambassador, actively involved in promoting EdenSleep through various marketing channels, collaborating with medical specialists, and elevating awareness of products and services at conferences.
With a focus on customer satisfaction, team competency, and brand promotion, this role plays a pivotal part in driving the overall success and growth of EdenSleep.
Responsibilities : Provide Gold Standard Customer Service meaning exceed customer expectations with friendly, professional, and knowledgeable advice support and management. Aptitude to identify customer needs and show proficiency in dealing with customer complaints in a timely manner, respond to all customers enquiries whether in person, phone, fax, text, or email promptly. Comprehensive knowledge and ability to consult with clients, initiate and manage sleep disorder therapy such as CPAP and other services such as home diagnostics if relevant. Competence to initiate therapy, provide product information, possess fitting demonstration and education skills. Ability to converse with clients regarding follow up therapy management, compliance reports / downloads, and troubleshooting concerns or complications. Actively fulfil client follow up program, prepare and send reports to prescribing physicians. Encourage client self-management and involvement in therapy. Liaise with Physicians, Hospital Laboratories, and other Allied Health Services. Complete stock takes as required and ensure adequate stock is on hand and order to replenish when necessary. Actively participate in training, clinical and staff meetings. Attend and represent the company at industry conferences, expos, and clinical meetings as required. Cash Management perform sales transactions efficiently and accurately. Balance taking and petty cash. Complete weekly activity statements and carry out banking procedure. Familiarity of weekly, monthly, and annual sales budgets for your Clinic and a commitment to achieving them. Ability to monitor, evaluate and report relevant business information. Dedication to maintaining and developing existing and new clients with follow up, support, liaising with physicians, hospital sleep laboratories, product suppliers and internal company resources. Ensure continuity of care and management, relating to clients and business. Making recommendations to raise the standards of service and practice delivery. Ensure reception area, therapy room / s, storeroom / s and tearoom are clean, tidy and organised. All areas must be swept / vacuumed, dusted, cleaned, and organised to a high presentation standard weekly and daily if required. Developing and maintaining the health promotion material inside the Clinic. Promotional displays must be current, stock rotated and well presented. Full understanding of the sleep market and key drivers within the NZ market Required. Grow the team's competency levels to enable them to align customer needs to available products and services. Attendance and promotion of products and services at client meetings, medical meetings, and industry conferences. Support the Clinical Manager by covering duties when on leave, and as required. Ensure current and future practice meets or exceeds current guidelines. Be the Sleep Physiology face of EdenSleep and work closely with marketing on initiatives and advertising platforms for the promotion of the EdenSleep brand, with the objective of increasing product and service awareness and driving growth. Liaison with medical specialists both GP and hospital based; and with occupational health organisations to increase business. Promotion of EdenSleep services and ResMed products at medical meetings / conferences. Qualifications and Experience Required : Postgraduate qualifications in Sleep Physiology preferred. Medical devices experience preferred. Ability to lead and manage teams. Agility in strategic thinking and problem solving to seek and develop alternative ideas. Ability to read and interpret instructions. Planning and Organisation skills able to manage own time and workload, ability to cope with last minute changes. Excellent Interpersonal skills relates to others in a friendly manner and values opinions of others. Aptitude to problem solving.
