Team Leader - Secondary Butchery - Night ShiftAs a Team Leader in Secondary Butchery at our Timaru site, you will be responsible for providing operational support to your team on the floor, proactively supporting your team to meet daily production requirements, as well as observing and monitoring quality and safety compliance. With the support of the leadership team, you will have the chance to drive continuous improvement initiatives and grow your career, with a range of development opportunities on offer.This is a Night Shift position and interested applicants will need to be available Monday to Friday 5pm to 3am approx. However, some flexibility to work day shift from time to time may be required.Key Responsibilities:Communicating food safety, quality and compliance requirements specific to your team, and actively observing the chain to ensure these are maintained at all times.Training and coaching members of your team to understand specifications and production targets and how they relate to their work.Organising daily production requirements in conjunction with your manager and clearly communicating this with your team.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate leadership qualities and experience, ideally from your time spent working in the manufacturing, FMCG or primary industries; and be driven by building a safe, quality-focused and positive culture within your team.
