We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as the Team Leader - Recycling.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated group of Recycling Operators in our mission to create a sustainable future.
As the Team Leader - Recycling, you will play a crucial role in supervising and coordinating the efforts of our Recycling Operators.
Your main objective is to ensure that all recycling activities align with client requirements and adhere to our company's established procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the sorting of recyclable materials using state-of-the-art equipment.
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and litter control on-site through diligent cleaning duties.
Perform loading and unloading of trucks and containers efficiently.
Complete all records and paperwork accurately, following prescribed procedures.
Conduct maintenance and safety checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Operate computerised systems as needed for streamlined operations.
Ensure all tools and equipment are safely used and appropriately stored.
Undertake daily prestart checks of equipment to guarantee operational readiness.
Assist in the training and development of Recycling Operators.
Qualifications About you: Proven leadership and teamwork capabilities.
NZ Driver's License, Class 1(essential) Wheels, tracks, and rollers (desirable).
Forklift license (desirable).
Computer skills in MS Office and operational databases (desirable).
Experience in the waste industry (desirable).
Moderate experience in supervising employees of lower levels (essential).
