We're looking for a Team Leader at our Christchurch Regional Distribution Centre here in Aotearoa reporting to our PM Shift Manager.
The Christchurch Regional Distribution Centre you will join a large team responsible for picking orders to keep our Countdown supermarkets in the South Island stocked and our customers happy!
Located in Hornby, our long serving team will support and help you kick start your career in distribution.

You'll lead and manage a team to meet safety, operations, people, customer and financial performance expectations - inspiring our teams to bring their best to work each day and return home safe.
Effectively manage team resources and work flow to meet performance targets
Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports, creating a customer-first culture that delivers great results and build a culture of teamwork, collaboration, safety and performance
Contribute to an engaged team environment through open communication, collaboration, and identification of continuous improvement opportunities
Supervise assigned team to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and all safety policies on an on-going basis
Complete all administrative tasks associated with managing the team in an accurate and timely manner,including staff competence assessments, leave management, time and attendance, injury management, and quality assurance measures
Set clear team goals and KPIs and focus on driving individual performance improvement through utilisation of national performance tools and processes as well as coaching and multi-skilling
Supervise shift start up and change over plans and ensure all load seal times to stores are met in full
Actively participate in Health, Safety & Wellbeing meetings and to promote safety policies and procedures on an ongoing basis
Carry out Risk Assessments for any change in processes or introduction of new processes
Actively demonstrate and regulate the Woolworths Code of Conduct, Our Core Values, and Ways of Working in daily behavior and conduct
About You | Mou
To succeed in this role you will bring 2+ years of Supply Chain or Manufacturing Leadership experience leading a large, mixed workforce. You'll be systems savvy, with a solid working knowledge of distribution centre systems and computer programs and will possess excellent planning and problem solving abilities.
You will be an inspirational leader and role model, being able to lead, coach and influence a team to continued success!
