In this newly created leadership role, you will be a key senior member of our Generation & Industrial team dedicated to leading and engaging with our clients to deliver technically challenging multi-disciplinary projects to support the growth of our NZ energy practice.
What will a day in this role look like?

Workload coordination and resource scheduling including collaboration with other teams/business lines for the delivery of services within the industrial, infrastructure and power generation sector.
Providing input into the energy strategy to align with the growth objectives of the NZ energy business.
Undertaking Project Director, Project Manager and/or Project Approver responsibilities.
Leading business development activities; building and maintaining client relationships, scanning for opportunities, keeping abreast of local markets and disciplines, development of capture plans and preparation of high-quality bids.
Coaching and mentoring a high performing and engaged team; performance management, welfare and pastoral care, contributing to and leading diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

Degree qualified in mechanical or chemical engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum of 15 years relevant industrial, generation and/or infrastructure experience, ideally within a consulting environment.
Proven people leadership experience.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-discipline projects and meeting delivery requirements.
Exceptional client relationship management and business development skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
