The opportunityConnected Underwriting is a groundbreaking space, perfect for an insurance professional eager to expand their expertise at the intersection of underwriting and technology. As a Connected Team Leader, you will:
Work closely with the Head of Digital Partnerships and Performance to lead system enhancements and ensure our processes remain efficient and customer focused.Oversee a team of Connected Underwriters and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding them through complex cases while our automated systems manage more straightforward risks.Focus on problem-solving and innovative solutions that support brokers and customers alike.Your new roleYou'll gain exposure to cutting-edge technology and processes that are reshaping underwriting, providing a valuable perspective on the industry's future. Your primary focus will be:
Leading a high-performance underwriting team.Influencing through action, you will use your problem-solving skills and growth mindset to better support our brokers and customers.Act as an escalation point and advocate for your team and connected ways of working, helping shape the connected strategy, to establish market leading response times, setting us up for success at scale.Implement enhancements that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.About youYou are an experienced Insurance professional, whose underwriting skills are complemented by an eye for profitable growth through innovative solutions and enhancements.Exceptional decision-making and complex problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset to deliver timely and effective solutions.Whilst People Management is preferred, we would be open to your experience in motivating, engaging, and developing others.Proven ability to drive innovation.Comfortable in establishing & using performance metrics to monitor sales channel & team performance.About QBEWe can never really predict what's around the corner, but at QBE we're asking the right questions to enable a more resilient future – helping those around us build strength and embrace change to their advantage.
