Our client is multi-disciplinary design consulting studio operating across Aotearoa's private and public sectors with projects that range from education, multi-storey residential, multi-site developments, modular and commercial projects. They apply unique, innovative designs to almost any building type and use the highest quality standards to ensure an outstanding end product for their customers. With a growing portfolio of projects, the opportunity now exists for an experienced Architectural Designer to join their organisation. 
The role Leadership position split with chargeable design work- 30/70Produce comprehensive design brief and concept documents incorporating 3D visualisationsComplete documentation of architectural plans and specifications to enable project pricing and BCAs to issue and oversee the following approved applications: PIM, Resource Consent and Building ConsentsManage, mentor, and motivate Architectural Technicians and coordinate with internal and external consultants i.e.: Structural Engineers, Fire, Survey, etc.Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers and scope/ advance business development opportunitiesParticipate in project reviews and assist with organisation of current workflow to ensure projects are completed on timeAttend site visits across Aotearoa, as necessaryContinue ongoing training to ensure a vast knowledge of the New Zealand building code, acceptable solutions and building material specifications used throughout projectsThe company Multi-disciplinary studio with key mainstay clientsContinues to exceed their clients' high expectations of quality, delivery, and customer service on each and every projectHighly committed to their staff and their inputs while continually improving their workplaceStrong dedication to Health & Safety in all aspects of business High focus on sustainabilityThe candidate Tertiary qualification in ArchitectureHold a current LBP 2 or 3NZRAB registered (or currently in process of registering)5+ years of New Zealand experience required with at least some commercial, educational, residential and/or modular project history within both public and private sectors ($700k to $12m preferred)Proficient in the use of Revit softwareGreat level of communication skillsStrong work ethic, passion for the work and dedication to the businessThe offer Competitive salary and excellent benefits packageHealthy work/life balancePlenty of development opportunitiesChance to start with studio branch at inception and help establish company cultureThe role will offer you the opportunity to be part of creating a fun, creative and professional working environment where you will play a key part in developing the company cultureIf you are motivated, have an eye for detail and are ready to work with other leading professionals in their field, then we'd love to hear from you.
