Based in Lower Hut, you will lead a passionate team, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, client-centred services. This is with a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing rehabilitation, residential, and respite services to adults with disabilities or brain injuries. What You Need to Do: Lead and Mentor: Provide leadership, clinical supervision, and support to a team of Community Coaches and Allied Health professionals. Service Oversight: Manage community-based contracts, ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with our mission and values. Develop and Implement: Coordinate projects, tasks, and process improvements within the team, including triaging referrals and managing therapeutic relationships with clients and whanau. Support Workforce Development: Identify and promote professional development opportunities, guide staff education, and support an interdisciplinary approach to client care. Foster Relationships: Build strong connections with external professionals and providers, ensuring collaboration to meet client goals. Ensure Health & Safety: Promote and adhere to health and safety policies, contributing to a safe working environment for clients, staff, and visitors. What You Need to Have: Essential: You are a qualified Occupational Therapist with membership with the Occupational Therapy board. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Privacy Act and Health and Disability Services regulations. A full New Zealand driver's license. Basic understanding of te reo Maori and a willingness to further develop cultural competency. Desirable: At least five years' experience for leadership role.
