Primary responsibilities include providing leadership and technical expertise with focus on team performance, quality, schedule delivery, efficiency, and safety. The Team Z Lead is also responsible for performance management and development of the team.YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:Aerospace, mechanical, electrical, mechatronic engineering degree or equivalent2+ years of experience in project engineering4+ years of experience in engineering design, test and/or operationsExperience in launch vehicle or spacecraft test, launch, or mission operationsAble to motivate and enable a team to deliver on-schedule and on-budgetStrong background in technical areas related to test & launch operationsSelf-driven, motivated and contagiously positiveStrong communications skillsCareful work ethic with an eye for detailEffective organisational skillsTHESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:2+ years of experience in engineering management6+ years of experience in engineering design, test and/or operationsDemonstrated experience in development of test facilities, launch sites, and/or mission operations facilitiesExposure to FAA, NASA, RCC, USAF compliance programsSalary dependent on experience: between NZD$100,000- NZD$ 125,000FOR CANDIDATES SEEKING TO WORK IN NEW ZEALAND OFFICES ONLY:For security reasons background checks will be undertaken prior to any employment offers being made to an applicant.
