This is a hands-on role where you will be providing guidance and leadership to a team of 8 in our laboratory team.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring the laboratory is operating efficiently, maximizing resources, and ensuring continuity of service.Leadership of 8 direct reports, and a casual pool, joining a larger leadership team in a supportive environment.Research and Implementation of new processes and practices for your team to implement continuous improvement solutions.Providing daily results and notifications to the manufacturing and management teams.The key to your success will be your strong leadership and your ability to build supportive relationships across a multi-department team who operate on a 24/7 roster.Skills and ExperienceTo be considered for this role, you will require:Proven team leadership/supervisory experience.Strong experience in regulated laboratory environments.Knowledge of laboratory testing and equipment calibration and hygiene practices.The ability and enthusiasm to lead and learn proactively.Pride in your work and the accomplishments you achieve.A tertiary education in Science or Technology is highly regarded in this role.What's next?
