Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand's largest school with a roll of up to 24,000 akonga (students) at any point in time. We provide personalised learning programmes from early childhood to NCEA Level 3.

It's an exciting time at Te Kura and we are looking for an innovative and collaborative Team Assistant, Learning Support to join the Northern Region.
Passionate about making a difference for students with additional needs, you will be supporting the Team Leader, Learning Support to ensure the delivery of Te Kura's Learning Support to our akonga to achieve their learning goals.
As the Team Assistant, Learning Support, you will:
Work closely with Finance, HR, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure smooth and accurate processing of Learning Support funding and employment contracts.
Support the Team Leader with management of Learning Support kaimahi (including, but not limited to, recruitment, performance, leave, learning & development, and health/safety/wellbeing).
Work collaboratively with other Te Kura kaimahi and external agencies to deliver learning support to akonga.
You will come from a coordination or administration background in an education setting. As a strong communicator and excellent relationship builder, you have proven stakeholder management skills and are a natural influencer. Experience in HR administrative tasks, including recruitment, police vetting, and induction is highly beneficial.
