Location: Hawkes Bay Hospital Service: Secretarial Services Contract: Permanent, Full-time 80 hours per fortnight (1.0FTE) Korero mo te turanga| About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a detail orientated and customer-focused person to join us as an Administrator for our busy Nurse Managers.
You will come under our Secretarial Services team and your main responsibility is to provide accurate and efficient administration duties while providing professional support to both external and internal customers.
You will need to be self-motivated and results driven as well as enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
You will have a passion for making a difference, achieving results, and be hungry for a challenge.
Naturally, you will be able to recognise the needs, aims, and aspirations of whanau from all culturally diverse groups within our community.
We are ideally looking for someone with experience in a busy administrative role, healthcare experience is an advantage.
You must be able to deal sensitively and confidentially with all information and have a strong attention to detail.
Experience with Microsoft Office is a must.
We are seeking someone available to work 80 hours per fortnight, Monday – Friday.

Mou | About you To succeed in this role, you will ideally have: 2 years + experience in an administration role Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Experience in scheduling and arranging meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items Expert typing skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work Great communication and relationship skills An ability to work autonomously but still love being part of a team A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
This includes an understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the ability to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way in this role.
