John Paul II High School is a state-integrated Catholic co-educational secondary school serving students in Y9–13 on the South Island's beautiful West Coast. We are seeking an innovative, highly relational, and enthusiastic teacher of commerce subjects and digital technology to bring learning to life for our students. Our ideal teacher will be an excellent communicator who caters to students of diverse abilities and creates engaging hands-on learning programmes in authentic contexts. They will contribute to the development of the social science and technology programmes within the school. They have the opportunity to bring learning into the 21st century and ensure our students see value in taking these subjects. Our students are keen to learn, hardworking, and good value.
Applicants must be NZ registered, fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum , and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. The role begins in January 2025. Beginning teachers should apply. A relocation allowance is applicable.
