Westport North School is seeking to appoint a fixed term teaching position to join our innovative and collaborative teaching team, commencing term 1, 2025 teaching in our junior team.
Westport/Kawatiri is nestled between the mountains and the sea at the mouth of the Kawatiri River, boasting beautiful beaches, pristine bush, and world-class bike trails. WNS is a well-resourced and well-maintained U4 student-focused kura.
We seek to appoint a dedicated kaiako to:
support our commitment to excellence for all students,
tautoko our commitment to PC4L (Positive Culture for Learning),
support our continued journey with Structured Literacy,
engage in our collaborative working environment,
engage with culturally responsive practice that upholds Te Tiriti o te Waitangi,
uphold our school values.
