Teacher – non-certificated Nestled in the heart of Richmond, Nelson, Active Explorers Richmond is a modern, purpose-built centre that prides itself on being warm, safe, inspiring, and engaging. We value a Primary Care approach where teacher/child relationships are fostered. We follow tikanga practices and use te reo Maori to reflect the dual heritage of Aotearoa.
Our team values a rich variety of learning experiences, with a strong focus on relationships and a team of qualified and passionate educators which helps us deliver the highest quality care for our tamariki. We strive for excellence and are looking for a kaiako to join our supportive team in helping our children realise their potential. The successful candidate will be working across 2 rooms, ages 2 to 5.
We're about finding joy in learning that encourages children to make wise learning choices that show respect for themselves, each other and the environment. Children are supported to grow empathy, take risks, develop social skills, build relationships and grow independence.
If you are a passionate kaiako with an easy-going nature and a good sense of fun, you will fit in well with our strong and cohesive teaching team.
Availability is required across all centre hours – 7.30am to 5.45pm with rosters issued weekly.
