We are on the lookout for a Registered Teacher to join our team for a fixed term period! As a kaiako with us, you will have the incredible opportunity to inspire and empower tamariki, enriching their learning experiences and fostering their growth.
This is a part time fixed term role offering 25 hours a week from September – December 2024.
About us:
Our approach to learning provides meaningful moments year-round. Our centre has three age-appropriate rooms that flow through to their respective outdoor areas. Tamariki enjoy the outdoor space which includes an amazing bike track and native garden that provide stimulating and adventurous areas of play for children of all ages. At Busy Bees Mapua we promote the development of active and confident learners who think, question, seek information and apply knowledge to the best of their ability.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Huge reserves of enthusiasm and energy
Competency in planning, curriculum and regular and emergent reviews
A personality that builds and develops strong relationships with staff and parents/whanau
An ECE or Primary teacher qualification and registration as an ECE teacher in New Zealand
A nurturing, caring disposition, and passion for supporting young children to thrive
The ability to build and maintain responsive relationships with children and their whanau
Excellent communication skills
