2025 is going to be an exciting year for Owairaka District School as we are moving into a brand-new 16 classroom flexible learning space building which is nearing completion. This is an opportunity for a highly effective and passionate teacher to join us next year.
The right teacher will be excited about working in a collaborative space with others, to provide great learning opportunities for our tamariki. They will also be able to teach in a digital Chromebook environment, understand Culturally Responsive practice for a multicultural setting, and place students at the centre of all they do.
Owairaka is a PB4L and Enviroschool, offering a rich and varied curriculum for all our learners. Candidates with recent successful NZ teaching experience are encouraged to apply. Visits are welcome and encouraged.
