Mangere College is a Y9-13 college in the heart of Mangere, dedicated to excellence in education for the students of Mangere.
We are seeking an innovative and passionate teacher of te reo Maori to work with and alongside our rangatahi on their reo Journey starting in term 1, 2025. Your expertise and leadership will be fundamental for the growth of our MC Mana Maori Initiative to grow our for Maori, by Maori, approach that supports, upholds and enhances Mana to promote Mauri Ora ki te katoa.
Our school values, PB4L approach and focus on whanaungatanga and culturally responsive practice, guide our culture, tikanga and pedagogy.
Our college is part of the AIMHI consortium and applicants must be willing to work in a multicultural educational setting. The appointee will be expected to commit to the school's co-curricular programme and contribute positively to the overall Ahua of the College.
