Tax Manager

The RoleWe are currently representing an established multi-partner CA firm with a lengthy history in the Auckland market, seeking an experienced Tax Manager or Assistant Manager looking for a step up in a generalist tax function with a focus on inbound & outbound work.As Tax Manager, you'll be working closely alongside the Partners on a diverse range of advisory and consulting projects.The large proportion of compliance work is taken care of by the BAS team, allowing you to focus on more technical tax projects.Day-to-day responsibilities will include reviews, managing client relationships, and handling higher-level technical projects.You'll manage a broad portfolio of clients, which includes NZ-owned entities, HNIs, and cross-border tax clients.You will also be involved in Transfer Pricing across inbound and outbound engagements.Ideal CandidatePrior tax compliance & advisory experience within a CA firm, preferably from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm.Strong communication, client, and stakeholder management experience.Experience in using Xero, APS, CCH, and/or TaxLab.You could be an experienced Tax professional currently looking for a transition towards more advisory-based work, or someone moving from a commercial tax environment into practice.Experience in corporate/deferred tax would be advantageous.The firm believes in an open-door policy and offers a strong, collaborative work environment that emphasizes teamwork, support, and an engaging and social atmosphere.To discuss this role (and other opportunities within the Tax and advisory market), please get in touch for a confidential discussion:John O'Donnelle: ******: 027 700 2361Harry Dev Singhe: ******: 020 4048 4824
