Are you a tax expert with a global perspective and a passion for tax strategy? Orion Health is seeking a talented Global Tax Manager to join our finance team and lead our tax governance framework to new heights.As the Global Tax Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions, managing tax risks effectively, and providing comprehensive tax information for financial reporting. Your expertise will help shape our tax strategy, support transfer pricing, and foster strong relationships both internally and externally. What will you be doing? Develop and maintain the Group's tax governance framework and strategy, managing key risks and legislative changes.Ensure accurate, timely tax return filings and compliance with accounting standards, supported with clear documentation.Provide proactive tax advice on transactions, maintain transfer pricing policies, and prepare technical tax papers.Lead and mentor the Assistant Tax Accountant. What will you bring? Experience: You have experience in a senior tax role in a global business or advising a global business on tax, preferably in the technology sector.Skills: You have an excellent knowledge of New Zealand tax and tax accounting under IFRS. You have a demonstrated ability to analyse and solve complex tax problems with excellent attention to detail. You have strong planning and organisational skills to manage workloads, prioritise and meet deadlines. It goes without saying that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex tax concepts to all walks of life.Characteristics: You like to take initiative and possess confidence to tackle complex problems head on. You are a natural mentor with the ability to build strong and trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation and externally.Qualifications: You are CA or CPA qualified with a relevant supporting degree.
