Accounts Assistant

As the Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting accounting operations and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial record-keeping. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies. Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience (1-3 years) in an accounting or finance role. Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel and Xero. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
