Explore more on Cubic.com.Job Details:Job Summary: As a member of the APAC Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, the role is responsible for implementing Cubic's strategic goal to deliver a high quality recruitment service with a focus on direct hiring. The post holder will be required to manage the recruitment of a number of positions in any area of the business including growing regions for Cubic such as Cubic Transportation Systems Australia. This will include the end to end management of vacancies with full accountability for following both internal Cubic requirements/procedures as well as outlined legislation for the duration of the process. The Recruiter is the subject matter expert in the overall recruitment process and will be proactive in the pipe lining of talent, building knowledge of the candidate and competitor market as well as researching recruitment tools and other talent sources. In addition, they will be required to work with third party suppliers as required.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for building strong professional relationships with hiring managers throughout the business to identify and secure talent for the business. Must be able to operate across all levels of the organisation and may be required to support both permanent and contract positions.Provide guidance and support to managers on the full recruitment cycle and internal processes including Workday, processes, compensation framework and interview skills.Responsible for taking full briefs from hiring managers to understand the exact requirements of approved vacancies; agreeing the grade and expected remuneration and benefit package associated with the role. Ensure that only qualified and pertinent candidates are submitted for consideration.Work closely with the Compensation Analyst to ensure that job title, compensation and benefit package is aligned with the Cubic internal frameworks, ensuring any final offer is appropriate.Agreeing recruitment plans with hiring managers (per vacancy) for recruitment processes e.g. target time scales for the delivery of candidates, interview structure and feedback mechanism.Ensuring that job specifications for open reqs are posted correctly on Cubic's external careers site and are compliant with both Cubic policy and any relevant employment legislation working with the wider HR team as required.Focusing on the delivery of a direct sourcing model to include:Writing compelling job adverts to outline career opportunities at Cubic.Proactive searching using all available tools including LinkedIn Recruiter and CV databases.Proactive headhunting and talent pipelining to locate candidates for positions with niche/specialist skillsets.Ensure compliance with statutory legislation.Reviewing direct applications in Workday; rejecting those unsuitable and forwarding any relevant to hiring managers.Conducting thorough screening calls with directly sourced candidates to qualify them against requirements and build a relevant short list for hiring managers to review. Provide candidate brief to facilitate the recruitment process.Coordinate interviews including ensuring candidates are fully briefed and kept up to date with outcomes. Provide guidance to managers regarding preparing for interview and providing interview notes ensuring adherence to company policy and statutory compliance. May be required to participate in the interview process for key roles and/or support assessment days.Facilitating the passing of feedback and information to candidates, hiring managers (and recruitment agencies where applicable) for the duration of the recruitment process. Working with the hiring manager, compensation and HR business partnering team as required, to ensure that any offer is within the company's compensation framework and is appropriate for internal equity. Responsible for managing the offer process (direct or agent) with the exception of internal candidates which should be managed by the HR Business Partnering team.Promptly informing HR Business Partners of any internal applications that have been submitted.Work collaboratively with the HR Business Partners to support the business and address any queries relating to recruitment process, role design or final offers.Completing the administration related to candidate offers and onboarding and generally responsible for completing required administrative processes correctly and accurately in Workday for the duration of the recruitment process.Provide guidance and support to managers as required to complete processes, and ensure that any offer is aligned to the Cubic compensation framework. Briefing external suppliers i.e. recruitment agencies on Cubic's PSL in full and ensuring that roles are open to them in Workday. May be required to support revision and qualification of agency / PSL performance by working closely with partners in specialist area and ensuring adherence to SLAs.Attendance and contribution to HR and Recruitment team meetings.Comply with Cubic's values and adherence to all company policy and procedures. In particular comply with the code of conduct, quality, security and occupational health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them.Minimum Job Requirements:Skills knowledge and experience:Essential:Extensive and proven experience recruiting in an in-house environment or RPO model with three years of experience.Proven experience managing a high volume of vacancies end to end.Proven track record of being able to qualify and present offers to candidates that are consistent with the company philosophy.Competent using Boolean and other methods to search for candidates across a variety of platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter and CV databases.Experience creating recruitment marketing copy including the creation of job adverts.Demonstrable experience working within a fast paced, large scale organization with a complex structure.Must have previous experience using an ATS.Previous experience working with (and providing a service to) multiple stakeholders within an organization (including direct colleagues within a team and wider business) to deliver requests and problem solve.Previous experience communicating with stakeholders to provide recruitment solutions at varying levels including Director.Previous experience working in a high volume, pressurized environment and delivering required tasks within deadlines to a high standard.Previous experience writing clear and concise communications in a corporate environment including emails and adverts for urgent vacancies.Good understanding of the statutory legislation that is relevant to recruitment such as The Equality Act and local Employment Law.Competent user of Microsoft office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.Desirable:Previous, demonstrable experience working as an in-house Recruiter within the Engineering, Transportation or Technical sectors.Previous experience working across the APAC region.Experience using and/or knowledge of HR/recruitment system Workday.Previous experience of working with an internal job grading or benchmarking to inform salary decisions.Education and qualifications:Essential:Educated to degree level in a related field and/or combination of experience.Desirable:Personal Qualities:Exceptional team-working ability.Ability to work independently with the trust to have full autonomy for the management of vacancies end to end.Ability to work effectively under pressure.A good sense of judgment with the ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality as and when required.Emotional maturity and stability.Ability to cope with change and conflicting demands.Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.Dedication to customer focus.Self-starter and driven to make improvements to processes where needed.Excellent personal time management and priority setting.The description provided above is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities and requirements.
