Job Description:
About the role
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our People & Culture team. This role collaborates with Summerset's leaders to build and maintain sustainable workforces in both New Zealand & Australia through the attraction, recruitment and onboarding of diverse talent.
This role is responsible for both strategic and operational planning and execution of all talent acquisition activity for Summerset. You will be responsible for supporting Summerset's Talent Strategy through attracting diverse capability that enables Summerset to achieve its strategic goals. You will leverage Summerset's EVP to strengthen the employment brand both internally and externally.
You will lead a team responsible for leveraging multiple sourcing channels and building strong talent pools and pipelines to support Summerset's growth and turnover in the most efficient and effective way. You will also drive continuous improvements to ensure that our systems and processes are cost effective whilst ensuring excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
This role can be based in Auckland or Wellington.
Key role responsibilities

Develop business unit specific talent attraction and recruitment strategies that align with key strategic workforce plans as well as the Talent and D&I strategies.
Review existing systems and process and develop sound business cases to support change – leveraging AI and /or other solutions that support efficiency.
Review the existing advertising practices and fit for purpose advertising channels that maximise both the budget and ensure we reach our target audiences.
Review the bulk recruitment and assessment centre process for new village openings and develop a strategy and plan for a more efficient and effective process.
Successfully plan and execute a strategy to support the staffing up of our first village in Australia alongside the Australian P&C Manager.
Develop a high performing talent acquisition team shifting the dial from operational recruitment support to talent acquisition, with excellent outcomes for hiring managers and candidate experience.
Deliver qualified and experienced talent pools for key roles across the business.
Develop SLAs and manage the team to deliver to these.
Provide regular reporting to the business through data analysis, focusing on insights on recruitment performance, forecasted recruitment as well as key market insights and trends.
Lead the recruitment/headhunting of key senior positions provide excellent end to end service and experience.



Qualifications:
About you

Demonstrated experience in developing and leading a high performing internal Talent Acquisition / Recruitment Function for a medium to large sized company.
Developed and executed strategies linked to organisational business drivers.
Experienced using a range of contemporary recruitment technology, social. media, and business networking solutions to attain recruitment outcomes.
Experience in managing, planning and optimising a recruitment budget.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation and planning skills.
Prior experience setting up or managing a proactive sourcing function or bulk recruitment function.
Experience in developing inclusive recruitment processes that support D&I goals.
Experience in improving recruitment systems and process that maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience in developing strategies and business cases resulting in executive endorsement and funding/budget allocation.
