Systems, Web and Marketing Administrator - Parental Leave coverRuby Housing is a boutique property management company based in Christchurch. We are a small and highly motivated team and manage residential rentals.We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team while one of our team members is on parental leave. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a dynamic role, and take over all aspects of systems administration, including website maintenance, digital and print marketing, SEO, social media, and CRM maintenance.If you love all aspects of compliance and systemisation, and enjoy combining this with the creativity of graphic design and customer focused marketing, you are the person for us! You will have 3+ years experience in online marketing and web maintenance, and will be able to demonstrate your skills in social media and a full understanding of the sales funnel process.Key Responsibilities:Your primary role will be to manage all aspects of technology and office systems administration. This includes, but is not limited to:Take property photos, shoot videos and demonstrate high levels of competency with virtual tour softwareDesign compelling content and list properties on Trade Me and other sitesRegularly review rental listings and organise promotionsWeb content managementHandle the maintenance and integration of the websiteAssist the Managing Director with various marketing projectsCreate and schedule social media postsWeb-based marketing including Google My Business and NeighbourlyMaintaining cloud based systemsAdding new users to all office systemsMaintaining data on office computer systems and smart-phonesImproving technology efficiencies within the officeAny other tasks as needed to enable the office to run smoothly and efficiently, and provide the best service for customersWe see the successful applicant as someone with a quiet, friendly, and warm nature. Proficiency in an additional language is a bonus as we have tenants and landlords from all walks of life and many countries. You will be open, friendly and non-judgemental.Attributes:We are looking for someone who:Is of a meticulous natureIs a fast learner and quick workerIs trustworthyIs extremely well organisedHas a willingness to carry out whatever extra tasks are required to ensure the best service for our customersYou will need to have excellent skills in all or most of the following areas:Photo and Video abilitiesGraphic design for advertising materialsAdobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and InDesignCanva and powerful AI toolsWebsite design and managementCreating and uploading web articles and videosMailchimpSEOAn excellent command of written and spoken EnglishMicrosoft Office Suite, especially Word and ExcelCloud systems, smartphone and tabletFriendly and efficient phone mannerThere is a company car for work use and a work smart phone is provided. A full clean NZ drivers licence is required, with no demerits. A police check will be carried out on all shortlisted applicants.This is a fixed short-term position (between 20 and 25 hours per week) to cover for a staff member on parental leave. Days of work are Monday to Friday, between 9-5pm, however hours may be flexible within these times. You may need to cover for our Office Administrator or other staff on occasion.This role also requires on-call and holiday cover on rotation.
