About the role We're looking for a Systems Support Specialist to join our Technology team for a 6-month fixed term contract. Based in our Parnell office, you'll support our business operations nationally by providing L1/L2 technical support and troubleshooting, supporting software installations, and maintain key business applications including ERP and other project management applications.
Key responsibilities include:
Act as the first point of contact for on-site technical support relating to hardware, software and operating systems including our ERP (Deltek) and project management applications. Carry out the day-to-day functions required to provide the efficient delivery of IT services and applications to HG. Software installation, setup and troubleshooting including telephony and video conferencing Work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary teams to build strong relationships and become the subject matter expert. Perform analysis of the processes and systems within Deltek and other applications to assist in shaping and implementing enhancements. Maintain training documents, produce learning resources and ensure IT documentation is kept up to date. Your skills and experience Based in our Auckland office, we're looking for a hands-on IT/Systems Support professional that can work in provide L1/L2 support to ensure operation and optimisation of our IT infrastructure and ERP systems. Our ideal candidate will have:
3+ years' experience in IT support or a similar role. Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Broad understanding of hardware, software and operating systems including ERP and project management applications. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, AAD and M365 suite. Experience with networking (LAN, WLAN, WAN) A good awareness of information security principles. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Why join HG?
