Our ideal candidate will have a passion for digital technology in a learning context and will be able to understand systems and pick up systems administration skills quickly for new technology.We are looking for an experienced systems specialist to join our team. Our systems specialists work in small nimble teams across a range of systems in each of our product portfolios.We currently have a vacancy in our Digital Learning Environment Value stream. As a Systems Specialist, you will:Provide technical support for systems, including troubleshooting issues, resolving problems, and working closely with our clients.Be responsible for maintaining and administering systems within your portfolio to ensure optimal performance and successful client outcomes.Collaborate with our clients to help them achieve their objectives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.You will have a good information systems background, a proactive mindset, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to adapt to changing technology and business requirements.We're looking for someone with experience in systems administration and management who can:Deliver great outcomes across our core learning management systems.Translate requirements into documented, trackable changes.Solve complex problems with effective solutions.Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) fixed term position until June 2027, located on the Dunedin Campus.
