Systems Accountant Specialist - FTC to December 2024Systems Accounting & IT Audit (Accounting)Contract/TempSystems Accountant Specialist – FTC August 2024 to December 2024This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company, who through their innovative technology are making a positive impact globally and proving to be industry leaders and achieving this from their Head Office in Mt Wellington.The are now seeking to expand their finance team to meet their growing needs, building a high performing team that will deliver exceptional results.As Systems Accountant Specialist, you will be reporting to the Head of Finance, taking ownership of change management projects. This role is pivotal as the company transitions from early days start up to a leading international cleantech innovator. To succeed in this role, you will need to be driven, comfortable rolling up your sleeves and eager to work towards long-term, ambitious goals.The focus of this contract will be managing the ERP transition from NetSuite to Dynamics 365 BC and the outsourcing of payroll. You will need to drive the transition from a financial perspective, ensuring a smooth and efficient migration process with minimal disruption to business operations.In addition to these key projects, there will also be the need to support the accounts team as it restructures for growth, acting as the subject matter expert for financial systems and documenting system processes.Skills & Experience needed to succeed:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fieldQualified Accountant (CA/CPA) or currently working towards qualification3+ years' experience working in financial systems managementExperience using NetSuite; experience in Dynamics 365 BC would also be an advantageA track record in managing ERP transitions and other financial system project managementStrong interest and proficiency in technology and software automationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage data quality and perform detailed financial analysisAn excellent communicator who has the capability to build strong stakeholder engagementThe ability to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced, dynamic environmentInterested?
