Papatoetoe Central School is looking for a dedicated teacher to lead our sustainability and gardening initiatives, making a lasting impact on our school and community.
About the role:
As our sustainability champion & garden educator , you'll bring your hands-on experience and love for the environment to life in exciting, interactive lessons.
You'll create vibrant learning experiences, guiding students in the essentials of gardening, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
From designing eco-friendly projects to sparking curiosity about our planet, you'll empower students to learn, grow, and make a difference.
You'll be supported by a student leadership group, a specialist teaching team, and a well-resourced school committed to offering "gold standard" programmes.
What we're looking for:
Passion for sustainability: A deep commitment to environmental education and sustainability practices.
Experience & expertise: Proven experience in gardening, sustainability, or environmental initiatives.
Inspirational teaching skills: Ability to lead engaging lessons and motivate students to explore the natural world.
Leadership in sustainability initiatives: A desire to champion eco-friendly projects within our school and community.
