Surveying And Building Technician

Details of the offer

We provide a full range of renovation services to residential and commercial customers , mainly in the Bay of Plenty. We work on all sizes of projects, from large new build and renovation projects to small repair, upgrade, or decorating jobs.
This role is to assist the professionals such as quantity surveyor and site managers. We are now looking for a Surveying and Building Technician to join the team.

Requirement: a qualification at Level 5 or higher in quantity surveying
Full time permanent job
Maximum 40 hours from Monday to Friday between 8am -6pm
Hourly rate: $32-$36
Address: 1109 Fenton Street, Rotorua

Your main duties include:


·       Supporting Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors in planning various renovation projects
·       Measuring and mapping land divisions with surveying equipment
·       Recording notes, creating sketches, and inputting data into digital systems
·       Interpreting plans, regulations, and industry codes of practice
·       Preparing and maintaining charts, drawings, plans, maps, and related documents
·       Editing and updating plans, maps, charts, and drawings
·       Inspecting work and materials to ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and standards
·       Tracking the progress of the project
·       Scheduling and coordinating the projects
·       Estimating project costs and timelines
·       Gathering data using surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment
