Our client is a highly respected, well-established civil, land development and water projects contracting firm. They now have a full-time permanent role for a Junior Project Engineer with previous civils experience in either water projects, roads, subdivisions, earthworks, bridgework, or general complex civil infrastructure experience, working on projects with an emphasis on complex civil works. The job description would include (but not limited to) the following:
Assistance with delivery of contracts to ensure budgets and time-frames are met.Working with management to ensure monthly claims are completed thoroughly.Scheduling of staff, sub contractors and equipment to ensure jobs run efficiently.Performance reviews of on the ground staff in conjunction with senior management.Communicate confidently with clients, engineers, council representatives and on the ground staff.Ensure all works are completed to the required standards.Recording of all QA and testing requirements.Ensure all H&S requirements are prepared for individual jobs and ensure these requirements are carried out on-site.To be considered for this role it is vital that you have the following skills:
