As they continue to expand and excel, they are seeking a dynamic and proactive Survey Manager to join their Auckland team.
About the Role As the Survey Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the team, contributing to the successful completion of various projects, and fostering the growth of business. This position requires a combination of leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role include:
Team Leadership: Collaborate with management to oversee team operations, including task allocation, coaching, and performance management, while ensuring adherence to project specifications and cost tracking for timely project delivery. Business Development: Drive survey business growth through collaborative relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders, promoting cross-disciplinary delivery. Deliverables: Lead the delivery of comprehensive surveying services including 12D drafting, topographic surveys, land transfer surveys, and subdivision designs. Client Outcomes: Deliver exceptional client service by addressing queries, managing risks proactively, and providing accurate information, ensuring client satisfaction and project success. About You The successful candidate will likely:
Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Surveying Be a licensed surveyor Have experience in or an aptitude for taking the lead and positive team leadership Be proficient in survey software and tools (e.g., 12D, LINZ processes) Strong understanding of land development projects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Why Chester?
