Research Administrator - Health Sector

We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Support professional to support a Cancer & Blood Research team for a 6-month temporary assignment based in Grafton.
If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to make a difference in health research, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support and ensure effective systems for all research activities.
Assist with financial management, including tracking budgets and invoicing study sponsors.
Organize meetings and communications for the team, including taking minutes and managing agendas.
Support the setup and maintenance of trial supplies and documentation.
Implement and monitor quality assurance processes.
Help with data entry and maintain the central research database.

Ideal Candidate:

Strong administrative experience and an interest in research within a health-related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with data management.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Commitment to achieving equitable health outcomes for Maori and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles
