We have most major medical and surgical subspecialties on site (except cardiothoracic and neurosurgery), as well as paediatrics and O&G. We are well supported by a strong regional ICU team. We have strengthening Primary and Community health services and an increasingly integrated approach to health and health care.About our team:Working within a team of 13 Registrars with the full support of 9 General Surgeons, 3 Urologists and working closely with 8 House Officers. The Registrars are responsible for the day to day management of inpatients under the care of the designated Consultant. They are also responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients referred to hospital acutely with surgical problems. These may be patients referred for admissions on acute days or be patients who have previously been cared for by the team and whom the team has accepted for re-admission.
