Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development)
This vacancy is for Support Workers throughout Northland to support people to remain active, safe and independent in their own homes and communities.
We are particularly looking for people who can work at least one weekend day and start at 7:00am regularly.

Dargaville (Te Kopuru, Baylys Beach, Tangowahine, Ruawai)
Wellsford (Kaiwaka, Mangawhai, Maungaturoto, Ruakaka, One Tree Point)
What does a Support Worker do? | He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko?
Our support workers are caring people with a commitment to providing the best possible support to our clients. Each client will have individual care requirements and you will support them with all elements of daily living such as personal care, food preparation, mobility or bowel/urinary continence care and ensure medication needs are met. You may also help our clients to participate in the community, undertake shopping for them or help them to take part in their hobbies.
The ideal candidate will: | Ko te kaitono pai ka:
Have a full/restricted driver's licence.
Genuinely love working with people who need support and seeing them thrive.
Be intuitive and responsive to people's feelings and needs.
Eligible to work in New Zealand.
No experience required.

Pay Steps (Hourly) | Utu Utu (Ia haora)
Level 0 $23.38 (No health and wellbeing equivalent qualifications)
Level 2 $24.78 (For holders of level 2 health and wellbeing qualification or equivalent)
Level 3 $26.94 (For holders of level 3 health and wellbeing qualification or equivalent)
Level 4 $29.10 (For holders of level 4 health and wellbeing qualification or equivalent)

After working with us for 9-12 months we can support you gain further qualifications through Careerforce.
