We have a full-time, permanent position available in our beautiful Southern region for a Support Worker Team Leader role. As a Support Worker Team Leader, you will be responsible for:Providing leadership and staff development.Recruitment aspects and support to the Advanced Support Workers in the delivery of homecare support within your assigned region.Consultation with care coordination and community nurse teams.Liaising with the community clinical team and Trainer on their requirements for SW competency assessments.Establishing rapport with Tangata and their whanau.Implementing service delivery models aligned with our values, ensuring quality assurance, and meeting contractual requirements.Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders.You will have life experience, patience, empathy, and wisdom to share, with the ability to engage Tangata Whaiora. You will be able to build rapport with people who have experienced trauma and redirect unhelpful behaviour. Additionally, you will have plenty of resilience.
