The care and support required will depend on the specific needs of the client. You will keep up to date with and deliver support in line with the agreed care plan.Our current Support Worker needs are within the Taupo and Rotorua areas with the flexibility to travel around the surrounding areas.The requirement is to be available at 7.30am across a split shift and work throughout the week and weekend.Aha Koe? About You:The Support Worker role may sound appealing to you, because you are naturally caring and empathetic, along with the bonus of being trained to have the Level 3 Health & Wellbeing qualification, we would love to hear from you!Requirements are below:A New Zealand resident, citizen or have an eligible work visaA full New Zealand driver's licence and a reliable vehicle that you are prepared to drive to and between clients (We cannot accept International drivers licences)Can accommodate flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsClear English language skills - able to read English instructions and plans and speak clearly in English to clients and colleaguesStrong customer service skills - are good at interacting with a wide range of people and enjoy helping peopleHigh-quality standards and ability to adhere to professional standards, policies and practicesCompassion for the elderly, disabled and those in recoveryConfident to visit a range of clients in their homes and provide them with a range of care and supportWe are diverse and inclusive!We are committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
