Support Worker | Matakohe (Northland)

We're committed to providing exceptional support services for our clients and looking for an experienced, empathetic and outgoing Support Workers to join our team and work with one of our clients, having stroke, brain haemorrhage and cerebrovascular accident based in Motakohe (Northland).
As a Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with unique needs contributing to their overall wellbeing to lead fulfilling lives.
Key Requirements: Qualification in Healthcare, disability support or related field
Competency in Hoist
Competency in PEG Feed
Previous paediatric experience
Own transport with a clean and valid Restricted/Full driver's license
Available Shifts: 11 hours per week (with potential for additional hours as needed and available)
Responsibilities: Assist with daily tasks such as personal care, bathing, PEG feeding
Help in grocery shopping
Usage of hoist equipment correctly and efficiently
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care, developmental therapies and medication
Mobility, positioning, grooming, and general home help
What we can offer you: Great hourly rates aligned with Pay Equity starting from $23.38 to $29.10
