The Role | Mo tenei turanga mahi
Our bespoke service is currently supporting three guests, each with their own unique journey. One of our guests requires specialised care due to complex physical and mental health needs, which include wheelchair utilization and manual handling equipment.

As a support worker, some of your responsibilities may include:
Supporting people with budgeting
Comprehensive note taking and handovers
Supporting people to regain their mental health and independence
Providing culturally competent care
Supporting people with independent daily living skills
Assisting with cleaning, cooking, gardening, or helping out with everyday household tasks.
While the people you support are asleep, you will be kept busy with other tasks like cleaning and supporting the day shifts with maintaining things like filing, first aid kits, emergency kits, and preparation of paperwork.
Shifts Available
Role 1: Tuesday to Saturday, 3.00pm - 11.30pm
Role 2: Friday to Saturday, 11.00pm - 7.30am (Awake Shift)
Role 3: Friday to Monday, 3.00pm - 11.30pm

Minimum Requirements:
A current full New Zealand driver's licence
A current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one
Hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent or be currently studying towards this qualification or a recognised equivalent.
