Our commitment to personalised support is reflected in our 'whatever it takes' wairua and spirit.The Benefits | Nga ahuatanga kei a matouIncreased Kiwisaver employer contributionFifth week of annual leave after 12 monthsPaid Wellbeing days (2 days a year)HealthNow Payment Card - $250 per year to support Health and Wellbeing for you and your whanauA wide range of discounts through our Perk & Perk Plus employee discounts appAbout the role | Mo tenei turanga mahiStarting 14 January 2025 this is a 40 hour a week role working Tuesday - Saturday 8.00am – 4.30pm in our Community team, based in Birmingham Drive, Christchurch.As a Support Worker your responsibilities include:Supporting with budgeting and independent livingAdvocate and support people to be well and thrive.Attend appointments and connect them with resources that support them in living well and assist them in building resilience.Help people connect with their communities, building the relationships that matter most.Foster positive change for a more positive life.Provide medication support for our people.Provide support with household management.Managing a caseload and all reporting requirements.Whatever it takes - cleaning, cooking, gardening or helping with everyday household tasks.You must have previous experience working in a community environment and mental health and addictions sector.You must hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised Level 4 equivalent qualification.You must hold a NZ full driver's licence.Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one within 2 months of starting.Have knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Closing Date: 3.00pm, Friday 20 December 2024.
