We're committed to providing exceptional support services for our clients and looking for an experienced, empathetic and outgoing Support Workers to join our team and work with one of our MFC clients having Möbius syndrome/Moebius syndrome based in Dunedin.As a Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with unique needs contributing to their overall wellbeing to lead fulfilling lives.Key Requirements:Qualification in Healthcare, disability support or related field will be preferredCompetency in First Aid, Suctioning, MIC-KEY and medicationCompetency in PEG FeedPrevious paediatric experienceOwn transport with a clean and valid Restricted/Full driver's licenseAvailable Shifts:2 days per week 3pm-5.30pm (with the opportunity to pick up more shifts as they become available)Responsibilities:Assist with after school cares such as personal care, bathing, PEG feedingMonitor breathingCollaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care, developmental therapies and medicationMobility, positioning, grooming, and general home helpWhat we can offer you:Great hourly rates aligned with Pay Equity starting from $23.38 to $29.10Free ongoing NZQA equivalent qualifications in Health and Wellbeing.Free Umbrella services anytime you might need counselling support an adviceFree work mobile phoneTravel reimbursement between your clientsSubsidised Southern Cross Health InsuranceTraining will be providedWhy choose Geneva Healthcare?Since 1996, we've been supporting New Zealanders to live their best life and thrive by keeping well, living independently and staying connected with their community.We are part of the largest network of healthcare service providers working closely with the Ministry of Health, District Health Boards, Ministry of Social Development, and with ACC as a preferred national provider.If you are passionate about supporting others and lives in Dunedin, then this is an opportunity for you.
