Full-time positionMust be available to work weekend shifts.$23.99 - $29.10 per hour (depending on qualifications)An additional $2.00 per hour for each permanent relief hour workedAbout the role:We are looking for a motivated and flexible individual to join our Permanent Relief Team (PRT). This full-time position requires availability to work any shift, including days, afternoons, evenings, night shifts, split shifts, and weekends. In recognition of this flexibility, staff on the PR Team are paid an additional $2.00 gross per hour.Key Responsibilities:Assist residents with their everyday activities, including shopping, meal preparation, household chores, personal support, and community outings.Provide support with a positive attitude to individuals with learning disabilities.What We Offer:Competitive hourly rate of $23.99 - $29.10 per hour (depending on qualifications) plus an additional $2.00 per hour for each permanent relief hour worked.An additional $2.00 per hour if you are required to work an awake night shift (11pm until 7am).Ongoing development opportunities, including support to complete NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 and 3.Paid time off the floor to complete your fully funded First Aid certificate, Safe Manual Handling, Falls Prevention, and Dysphagia training.Free Employee Assistance Programme, offering counseling, finance guidance, planning, and career direction.Access to discounts at 40+ locations.Requirements:Availability to work any shift, any day of the week.NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or equivalent.A positive attitude to supporting people with a learning disability.A full New Zealand driver's licence.Great communication skills (written and verbal).About Hawksbury Community Living Trust:At Hawksbury, we are dedicated to providing quality residential support for individuals with learning disabilities.
