Position Description
About the role
As our Supply Chain Finance Manager - Projects, you will lead and manage the execution of Supply Chain Finance projects. This position involves meticulous planning, execution, and monitoring of revenue and expenditure projects. You will manage cross-functional teams, ensure project schedules and budgets are met, and facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities

Conduct financial analysis to deliver innovative, proactive, and insightful decision support and commercial analysis.
Undertake modelling and evaluation for the ELT and senior management team.
Evaluate project viability by analysing financial data.
Develop detailed project plans, project budgets, and expenditure forecasting.
Engage with stakeholders to understand financial expectations and regularly communicate project financial status.
Conduct risk management to identify, assess, and escalate potential risks to project timelines and deliverables.
Perform variance analysis, cost control, and oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights.
Uphold a continuous improvement culture to introduce or enhance efficient financial policies, systems, and management.
Overarching control of Supply Chain project financials and of Supply Chain reporting metrics.

Skills & Experience

Extensive operations finance experience, including management or cost accounting experience, is essential.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and CA, CIMA, or CPA qualified.
Food manufacturing, FMCG, dairy or pharmaceutical industry experience required.
Project management experience necessary.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong business relationships.
Ability to produce high-quality work in an often-ambiguous context.
Precision in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Proven ability to work productively autonomously.
Experience in the use of ERP and EPM systems.
Willingness to travel when required in line with project delivery.
