Mo Te Turanga | About the Role The Inventory Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations at our VDC location in Auckland.
You will be responsible for overseeing inventory processes, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Inventory Accuracy: Develop and implement cycle count procedures to maintain accurate inventory records.
Take proactive measures to rectify discrepancies and ensure compliance with customer Service Level Agreements.
Daily Reconciliations: Generate and analyse daily stock reconciliations, reporting variances and root causes to relevant stakeholders.
Inventory Procedures: Establish and enforce procedures to optimize inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Reports and Analysis: Prepare and distribute various inventory management reports, including stock age, remissions, and variance reports.
Problem Solving: Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Customer Relations: Collaborate closely with customers to meet agreed objectives and resolve inventory-related issues promptly.
Training and Development: Develop and deliver inventory-related training programs for warehouse staff to ensure competency and compliance with operational procedures.
Key Requirements: Education: Tertiary qualification preferred, with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (SAP knowledge advantageous).
Experience: Minimum 5 years in supply chain/logistics, with previous experience in inventory management and control.
Experience in the beverage sector is desirable.
Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
