Supply Chain Coordinator - Sales & Logistics Focus

This is a great role for someone genuinely interested in the primary industry and supply chain logistics. You will be joining a young and driven team making great gains in their market. Peak Commodities is a niche, privately owned commodity company, trading and marketing quality produce globally. They take great pride in building long term relationships with customers and suppliers to connect markets and deliver value to their clients worldwide. As supply chain lead, you will sit at the heart of their operational and administrative success. Supporting two busy Directors, you will be the key admin, transaction, and communication link, ensuring efficient movements of products from suppliers to markets all around the world. You will gain expertise and insight into commodity trading with exposure across the entire business. There are lots of contact points for you - from suppliers to transport carriers, coordinating freight bookings through to engaging with customers offshore, ensuring sales and accounts documentation is accurate and any delays are communicated along the way. There are lots of moving parts here. It will be your job to ensure smooth running and jump on issues as they arise during the day. Accurate invoicing and sales documentation will sit with you. You will quickly become the go-to person ensuring processes across the supply chain flow smoothly. We are looking for someone who can really dig in and make this role their own. A grad with supply chain management, agribusiness, or commerce would be great. Ideally, you will have at least two years of post-university experience in a similar field; otherwise, you must have the innate capability to grasp new business concepts and be able to pick up new systems, including Xero quickly. A confident engagement style and willingness to learn will see you building strong relationships across the supply chain. You must be adaptable with strong problem-solving skills as no day is the same here, but for the right person, we know you'll love it.
