Traffic Controller

Do you have a current TMO license & committed to the safety of workers, drivers, and pedestrians?
Tradestaff is currently on the lookout for experienced & safety-conscious Traffic Operatives to join our team here in Hawkes Bay!
Responsibilities: Directing and controlling traffic to minimize congestion and ensure safety via the classic lollipop and other means.
Setting up and maintaining appropriate signage, barriers, and cones to guide drivers and protect work areas.
Providing information and directions to the public as needed.
Coordinating and communicating with other traffic management operatives and workers for continuous safety.
Requirements: Full Class 1 License AND your own mode of transport (restricted license holders will be considered based on experience).
Class 2 license is desirable, but not essential.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Traffic Management experience & TC Qualification (level 1 minimum).
A safety-first attitude with excellent communication skills.
A team player with good problem-solving skills.
