Our offices are based in Seaham and Bishop Auckland and although we work flexibly, it is envisaged that this role will require both an offsite and onsite presence as per business need when required.
About the RoleThe Supply Chain Controller will work in conjunction with Senior Managers and Team Leads, to ensure that believe housing's Property Repairs Team is developed as a flagship service that is great, consistent and modern.
Provide co-ordination and support on Property Repairs supply chain requirements to deliver a high-quality service whilst balancing cost, quality and risk.
The successful candidate will:
Deliver end to end third party contract solutions to ensure full coordination and support of operational delivery across the Property Repairs Teams, particularly supply chain and waste provision.Develop and build relationships with third-party suppliers and business streams to ensure a smooth and efficient transition of services provided and any issues affecting delivery are highlighted and acted upon to minimise the impact to operational delivery, productivity and customer satisfaction.Ensure that materials are fit for purpose, available and reflective of the work undertaken within Property Repairs, van stock is available and replenished regularly and special orders are tracked and represent value for money.Supervise, procure, and manage supplies for tools, equipment, uniforms, and PPE to maintain safety standards and operational efficiency.Assist with analysis of trends in service delivery and ensuring that all contractual key performance indicators are met or exceeded to deliver a first-class service within a right first-time ethos.Our people are our greatest asset which is why we value you, encourage you, look after you, and empower you.
